Their quality is so fine that often they can be worth more than the original paintings because of their quality and their lifespan of between 150-200 years unlike the life of many original paintings. 

Gilclee means to spray in French terms. This is done by using large format  inkjet printers which create the best color matching and are the most precise which gives the artist a high quality Archival print of their original pieces of art.

Prints are received in a roll inside a protected hard case tube to protect it from damage during transit. 

All Giclee museum grade prints should ideally be framed  professionally behind UV protected glass and hung out of direct and indirect sunlight to avoid fading at an early age.

Limited Edition vs Reproduction, what is the difference?

Limited Editions are higher value because there are less of them throughout the world. Normally you would see them at numbers no higher than 250. 

Reproductions are just a run of prints of any number from 250 upwards into the thousands. Their value is not even close to the price of what a Limited Edition would cost.

Is buying Giclee a good investment?

Yes, especially if you want your investment to grow in value over time. If you collect original fine art, or this type of valuable print you are making a wise choice.

Over time these become more valuable and rare. The artist also gets more popular and their works is more in demand and all limited edition prints will also increase in value.

How much does it cost per  giclee masterprint?

This depends on a few factors including; if it is signed by the artist, the edition volume (smaller the edition the higher the price is), if there is a number of the edition on it, which number you bought, subject, who the artist is, their profile, popularity, demand. The size you order also comes into play here. You are welcome to ask for a no obligation quote on any pieces of art that are for sale without a price listed.

How long does it take to get my art order delivered?

Once payment has been confirmed within 24 hours please around 28 days for delivery as fine art is often held at the border of your country for clearance (often 2 weeks at least before it is released to you.
